Stage 1 & Stage 2 Bellevue Depot Railcar Manufacturing and Maintenance Facility

Stage 1

Bellevue Depot Stage 1 holds significant strategic value on the Labour Governments elected manifesto which was to bring rail manufacturing back to WA. The Assembly and HV Test Shed facilitate this vision by providing a world class manufacturing facility to achieve this. We are proud to say that 3 members of our team played a key role in the delivery these works. Having worked directly with the PTA to provide both commercial and project management expertise to enable to PTA to achieve practical completion despite the challenges of a covid impacted industry.

Stage 2

Bellevue Depot Stage 2 includes major buildings which facilitates rail car maintenance for electric B-series trains. This stage also provides capabilities for maintaining electric C-series trains and maintenance facilities for diesel train units located at the western end of the depot. Stage 2 largely comprises of a large diesel maintenance shed, expansion of the existing HV Test shed to provide B Series maintenance, bogie drop facilities, large stabling yard and OLE infrastructure, traction feeder substation as well as a state-of-the-art drivers sign on building. The majority of our team were instrumental in this project by working directly for the PTA in the design development and tender evaluation and award as well as completed much of the essential early works, including; demolition, main line track connections and the Traction Feeder Station.
