Bellevue Depot Stage 2 – Traction Feeder Substation

One of our team members provided comprehensive commercial and project management support throughout the development and delivery of the Traction Feeder Substation for Bellevue Depot Stage 2. Their involvement began at the early design stages, supporting design development to ensure technical requirements, operational interfaces, and cost considerations were fully aligned with PTA standards and broader network needs.

During the tender evaluation phase, they played a key role in assessing contractor capability, reviewing commercial submissions, validating scope coverage, and ensuring the procurement strategy achieved both value for money and quality outcomes. This included coordinating with key stakeholders and ensuring all design and construction packages were clearly defined and integrated.

As the project advanced, they oversaw the delivery of early works, maintaining strong oversight of contractor performance, safety, cost control, and programme progress. Ongoing commercial management included contract administration, variation assessment, forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain clarity and control for the client throughout the project lifecycle.

The Traction Feeder Substation required seamless integration with several surrounding facilities, including the diesel maintenance shed, HV Test Shed expansion, stabling yard, and OLE (Overhead Line Equipment) infrastructure. Our team member ensured these critical interfaces were effectively managed, reducing construction risks and maintaining alignment with operational requirements.

Through disciplined management and deep infrastructure experience, our team supported the successful delivery of this essential electrical asset, contributing to the broader expansion of Bellevue Depot and increased network capacity.
